Clara Lake is one of Lutsen's best kept secrets! A nice sense of the wilderness while being only 15 minutes to Highway 61 and all that Lutsen has to offer, including Lutsen Mountains Ski and Summer Resort!  We would tell you how good the fishing is but the other lake owners wouldn't be happy with us!  The land is a Boreal Forest defined, nice pines, birch and poplars that all gently slope to the deep rocky shoreline of Clara Lake. Across the lake your view shed is protected by the Superior National Forest lands, where wildlife abound! Enjoy the Moose swimming to the island to have their young and nesting Osprey and Eagles. You will feel like you are in the BWCA, which is only 10 or so minutes up the road at Brule and Homer Lakes. Enjoy this land as a quiet respite, where you can enjoy outdoor recreating year round! Designated bike trails meander through the USFS lands nearby, snowmobile trails just down the Caribou Trail, and miles of hiking opportunities all from your own piece of paradise on Clara Lake. There isn't a strict association that you have to answer to, so build what you want or camp on the land until you figure out what you want!
