Just in case you were wondering, this is what Lake Superior looks like when the air temp is -27. So far it’s warmed up to -8 but it will start dropping again shortly as the sun goes down.

This little guy (or gal) has been at this feeder all winter and does not like to share.
He chases away the other birds that just want the sunflower seeds, all because he’s protecting his suet.
Obviously he knows the cold weather is coming back and he needs to keep warm.
