Last Winter Storm?
Well another snowstorm hit last night bringing 9-12+ inches of snow depending where you are in the county.
Schools were closed and most people spent the day shoveling decks and clearing driveways, which will probably continue tomorrow. These pics are from Kim and Tony’s house at Tait Lake, John’s house at Deeryard Lake and my (Alisha) house in Tofte.
Hopefully this will be the last winter storm, I think we all need Spring.
Good thing the first day of Spring is next week!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Joys of Winter
When we got our big snowstorm a couple weeks ago Kim got out to enjoy it. The following is from Kim: Taking advantage of the fresh two plus feet of snow recently, I went for a back country ski through an old forest service road. It was cold enough not to be sticky snow so I was able to ski through the fluff pretty well.
Although a grey day, it was spectacular in the woods. Hope you all head North to enjoy the snow before the Spring melt!!

Ice Storm and Hoar Frost
An ice storm moved in the last few days and has created quite a scene. While the hoar frost is beautiful, the ice on the roads and paths is not. And now with the rain we have gotten on top of it all, it creates alot of slippery situations.
If you go out adventuring be careful! Even if it looks just wet, it’s most likely solid ice.
Have a great weekend everyone!
