Everyone has their own way of gauging when summer is done. For example some say when the fireweed plants are blooming all the way to the top that summer is almost done. Officially the first day of fall isn’t until September 22nd so we still have some time. Time to make the most of out of it before the school chaos starts!

The Blueberries seem to be thriving this year, have you gotten to enjoy them? It’s hard to fill the container when you are eating them as you go, but that’s the fun part right? We all know the season ends quickly so get out and find some before they disappear until next year!

The rain we have gotten has been a welcome sight, but we could certainly use some more. Cross River is a perfect example to show the lack of rain we have had. Hopefully we will get some more so the late summer flowers can bloom and raspberries can ripen!

The last couple rainstorms we have gotten seems to have made the flowers BLOOM! Everywhere you go you see purple, yellow, and white flowers, making the bees happy as can be! If you get a chance get outside and take a walk, you never know what flowers are blooming just around the corner.

Just a reminder the block party that was supposed to happen today has been postponed due to the air quality. Hopefully we will be able to reschedule soon!!
