This time of year there are a lot more people along the North Shore looking at fall colors, and who can blame them? They are beautiful! I think everyone takes at least one trip into the woods to “take a peak”. So as you are out and about taking in the views remember to stop at those places you always drive by, like Palisade Head! The road is closed to cars in the winter (if you have ever stopped you know why!) but it’s one of those places that gives you just an unbelievable view of the Big Lake! I (Alisha) stopped on Thursday on my way to Silver Bay and enjoyed the view of the calm lake.
Hope you all get out to enjoy the colors before they are gone! There are quite a few places where the Maples are past peak, but here are others where they haven’t even started yet, and the Aspen and Birch aren’t fully turned yet. It’s going to be a weird “leaf season” I think.
Have a great weekend everyone!
