There’s just something special about the birds that sing at night, especially after the long quiet winter nights.
This Whippoorwill has been coming back to the neighborhood each spring for a few years, each night singing its song.
Sometimes fast, sometimes slow.
Between that song and the spring peepers in the background, it makes it worth it to stay up at night to listen.
