The following is from Kim: It’s important to help our neighbors in need, everyone needs help at some point. Be kind to those in need, choose love not hate.
Turn up the volume to hear Kim’s convo with the bird who is obviously reporting a lack of birdseed 🙂
Have a great weekend everyone!
This little guy (or gal) has been at this feeder all winter and does not like to share. He chases away the other birds that just want the sunflower seeds, all because he’s protecting his suet. Obviously he knows the cold weather is coming back and he needs to keep warm.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Everyone is finally getting dug out after the snow we got Sunday night. The birds and deer are busy digging up seeds in the snow and remaking their trails, while the rest of us are shoveling and snowplowing.
Snow amounts ranged from 6-10 depending where you were in thr county, but one thing is for sure, it’s a beautiful sight!
Hope everyone gets a chance to get out and enjoy the snow this week!
Even though the first day of winter isn’t until the 21st, winter has moved in. We started yesterday with rain, which turned into a nice coat of ice when the temps dropped and the winds started. Then Mother Nature decided to toss some snow into the mix for fun! We are supposed to get some more snow tonight so hopefully everything will look like a winter wonderland for Christmas!
Hope everyone has a great weekend and remember to be careful with all the ice under the snow.
The storm we got last night brought around 4 inches of snow along the Big Lake. Today everything looks like a winter wonderland again! Fresh snow in the yard show you all the woodsy neighbors who have been wondering around and the trees look as if they have been painted just for the holiday season. Hopefully we will get more tonight!
Have a great week everyone!
